PTL Limited is seeking to recruit a Finance Executive to handle key financial functions that support daily operations and contribute to the preparation of financial reports.
THE POSITION
Based in Malta and reporting to the Director of Finance, the Finance Executive will be actively involved in the preparation of the Company’s monthly management accounts, financial statements, forecasts, and budgets. The Finance Executive will oversee and support day-to-day financial operations, ensuring the finance function runs efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilitieswill include assisting in the month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing bank and intercompany reconciliations, and monitoring the sales and purchase ledgers, stock control, and trade debtor balances. The Finance Executive will also play a key role in supporting the external audit process, compiling VAT returns, and performing various finance-related tasks as required, all while ensuring compliance with group accounting policies and procedures.

THE REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant or in the advanced stages of completing a Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification. A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role is required, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to multi-task effectively. A proactive, can-do attitude is essential, as is a solid background in preparing management reports. This role is best suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute meaningfully to a growing finance team.
