Finance Manager

Hili Ventures is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to assume responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the Finance department, ensuring timely and accurate accounting and reporting of financial information.

Based in Malta and reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the preparation of the company’s monthly management accounts, financial statements, forecasts and budgets as well as managing and coordinating securities-related matters with the Malta Stock Exchange.

The role involves the management ofthe month-end process, preparation of bank transfers and reconciliations, the preparation of VAT returns and payments, keeping tax computation up to date, as well as maintain the inter-group transactions and balances. Supporting the Senior Director of Finance and Finance Manager - Group Reporting, in consolidating the group management accounts & IFRS financial statements, is also a key aspect of this role.

The Finance Manager will ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures as well as assist in collaboration with external auditors.

THE REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within an international organization.

The preferred candidate will be a collaborative business partner with effective communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
