Logistics & Procurement Co-Ordinator

STS Marine Solutions (UK) Ltd is seeking to appoint a Logistics and Procurement Coordinator to support the technical projects and operations team of the Company.

Based in Sunderland and reporting to the Technical Manager, the Logistics and Procurement Co-Ordinator, will be responsible for the co-ordination of the logistics of assets, whilst supporting vessels and mooring masters. The Logistics and Procurement Co-Ordinator will ensure that the activities are conducted in accordance with best industry practices, and specific to business and customer requirements, and legislation.

STS Marine Solutions is a world leading STS service provider with over 30 years’ transfer experience involving crude oil, refined petroleum products, LPG and LNG.

Its core activities comprise Oil & Gas and LNG support operations, LNG Terminal Management, Emergency Support Services and Consultancy. With 24 operating bases, the business is based in Sunderland, UK, and manages two brands: OilSTS and LNGSTS.

THE REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate, with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, will be in possession of a qualification related to logistics, and oil & gas operations. The chosen candidate will have good working knowledge of PC computer systems and cargo management software, together with excellent communication, and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is a must.
