Job Description
APM is seeking to appoint a Director of Finance to oversee the day-to-day processing of financial data, coordinate the preparation of management accounts to ensure timely reporting, prepare, manage and forecast cash flow and manage the yearly budget including forecasting and monitoring progress.
Based in Malta and reporting to the Board of Directors, the Director of Finance will analyze the monthly management accounts and justify variances for presentation to the directors, perform shadow accounting for foreign subsidiaries and select, train and lead a team of people.
The role also involves the implementation of existing policies and procedures, with a focus of continuously improvement by introducing new policies.
This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual with a proven track record, sound judgement and integrity who is a team player with good communication skills.

THE REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with at least five years’ experience in a finance management role, ideally within an international-focused organisation. Excellent analytical skills, particularly application, analysis and presentation of data as well as fluency in business English are crucial to this role.Applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
