HV Hospitality is seeking to appoint an experienced and hands-on Director of Hotel Pre-Openings & Sustainability to lead pre-opening activities of hotels and resorts and oversee overall standard and service implementations.
Based in Malta and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Hotel Pre-Openings & Sustainability will assist in defining brand, product, service, and guest experiences that strike the perfect balance between luxury and sustainability at all properties.
The Director of Hotel Pre-Openings & Sustainability will assist with the definition of all 'DNA' of the hotel(s), develop a strategy for hotel pre-openings, plan all back-of-house areas, establish detailed action plans for all departments, and provide leadership and direction to operational team members, while liaising with contracted third parties with efficiency and effectiveness. The successful candidate will be a operational hotel leader with a deep understanding of European sustainability market offerings, from strategic management to net zero carbon, be able to lead operational sustainability programs and create revenue-generating strategies that support the company's commitment to social and environmental sustainability.
He / She will have at least five years' executive experience in a luxury hotel pre-openings' operation, a sharp eye for detail, outstanding management skills, and extensive hands-on experience. The chosen candidate must be passionate about sustainability and regenerative practices, display impeccable integrity and dependability, have excellent issue resolution skills and be able to build sustainable relationships with a diversified group of stakeholders.
