iRiparo, the express mobile device repair service specialist and refurbished phones retailer, is seeking to recruit a General Manager for Romania to lead the expansion of the iRiparo store network nationwide, ensure the business scales successfully and sustainably, and position the brand appropriately in a competitive market.
Based in Romania and reporting to the Managing Director of E-Lifecycle Holdings, the General Manager will assume responsibility for the development, expansion, management and profitability of the business in accordance with the plan mandated by the Board of Directors, and the recruitment of a dedicated and committed team. The General Manager will develop and position the brand’s presence across Romania as a leading player in lifespan extension of mobile devices and a major contributor to ensuring greater sustainability in mobile technology use in order to reduce impact on climate change.

THE REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have 5 years’ experience in a senior role preferably with an international retail chain – however experience of any retail environment will be considered favourably. A track record in building businesses across markets will be considered as an asset. Fluency in Romanian and English, a strong entrepreneurial spirit, passion for leadership, analytical skills and hands-on attitude are essential.
