Based in Malta and reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager will be responsible for alligning finance, marketing, human resources, and operations teams with the company’s overarching strategic goals, while ensuring profitability.

THE POSITION
The General Manager will develop and implement the country’s strategic sales and marketing plan, create new business opportunities and enhance the company’s development and market position. They will work closely with the operations team to lead the planning, organization and coordination of all 9 restaurants, ensuring appropriate and robust communication vertically and horizontally. Together with the Human Resources team, they will ensure that a well-trained, motivated, and customer-focused team is in place in each restaurant. This position also requires ensuring that all quality measures are in place in accordance with McDonald’s standards and compliance with national and international quality standards and legislation.
The General Manager will build trust and maintain strong, healthy relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as key partners.
THE REQUIREMENTS
The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior management role and possess strong leadership abilities and business acumen to mentor and enable the growth of the company and the team.

The ideal candidates will demonstrate a good command of English Lanaguage, good communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility for service levels as they display passion for the brand. THE POSITION
Based in Malta and reporting to the Director of Human Resources & Training, the HR Coordinator will support the day-to-day HR operations, with a particular focus on work permit-related administration at the head office in Marsa.
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire work permit application process, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
The role also involves providing step-by-step guidance and ongoing support to employees throughout the process - from initial documentation to final approval - while acting as the main point of contact for any related queries.
